Lazarus and the Rich Man. A proof for the Existence of Heaven and Hell? The parable of Lazarus and the rich man is found in Luke 16. Jesus Christ had been talking with His disciples about being faithful with unrighteous mammon (worldly riches), and that no servant can serve two masters: “You cannot serve God and mammon” (verse 13). How to Overcome your Doubt No one is immune to doubt. It can and does happen to us all. You’ve just got to know how to handle it when it comes.
