CHAMPIONS AND COWARDS!

"And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it" (Numbers 13:30)

A champion is one who competes and wins in a contest. You cannot become a champion when you have not faced and overcome challenges. What makes the difference between cowards and champions is the attitude to challenges. Cowards dread difficult situations, while champions see hard times as opportunities to do the rare.

Champions are always ready for challenges. Dare to be a champion! The conquest of Canaan is a case in point; of the 12 spies sent by Moses to spy out the land, only Caleb and Joshua (outta the 12 spies sent) thought that they could conquer it with God's help. The other 10 spies said Israel confronting the Canaanites is like a fight between grasshoppers and giants! That's doubt and doubt is evil!  Where do you belong?

If you face a problem in your life, see it as a price you have to pay for your own progress. See God always greater grace your worries and doubt. You cannot know your true self until you face difficulties that stretch you beyond your limit. Life's problems are there to prune you and make you braver and better.

Numbers 13:30
KJV: And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

Amplified Version: Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once and possess it; we are well able to conquer it.

CHALLENGES: CHAMPIONS NEVER RETREAT OR SURRENDER. YOU MUST BE COURAGEOUS AS A CHAMPION. 

Bloggers Review: you cannot know what truly lies deep in an orange unless you squeeze it hard and squeeze until its last drop. Life posses to us challenges and fear to determine truly the stuff we're made of. The source of all oppositions is the devil. The Bible says we must stand in the Lord and in the power of His might. Never handle trials and tribulations as they come and by your strength but lean on Christ and in the power of His own might. Caleb recognized the power of God that has promised above all they could see in Canaan land.

ABIDE IN CHRIST

Christ is everything we need. He is our Salvation, our Righteousness, our Love, our Joy, our Wisdom, our Power, our Victory, our Patience, our Life, and much more. Indeed, Christ is our all in all. WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

What must I do to be saved? (Acts 16:31) We are saved, not by doing good works or any work, but by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
