ENOUGH? ESAU

Enough Esau?  And Esau said:
"I have enough." ( Genesis 33:9)

Many young people have SELF DECEPTION as their first name like Esau in our text! They may be born into opulence and raised amidst unbridled luxury!!  In childhood, such people are surrounded by domestic helpers who take their orders and do virtually everything for them. At their command, they get things done for em, so life's good.

Thus, they grow up totally bereft of skills and wanting in social etiquette. Above all, such young people are mostly irreligious, having been made to trust in riches and disdain godliness. Oddly, people like these consider themselves privileged ; resist the gospel and assume they have enough.

The Bible says, "Not that we are sufficient to ourselves to think anything as of ourselves ; but our sufficiency is of God" (1 Corinthians 3:5).  Unfortunately, such youth, adult or even teenager only get to appreciate the vanity of this life when some health challenge arise, defying all medications and claiming the lives of the wealthy parents.

1 Corinthians 3:5
KJV: Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

Amplified Version: What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Ministering servants [not heads of parties] through whom you believed, even as the Lord appointed to each his task

CHALLENGE: DO YOU HAVE CHRIST?  DOES CHRIST BY HIS SPIRIT IN DWELLS YOU?

Bloggers Review: It will only be deceptive when you live a sufficient life with no need for Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the source of all things. He wants you to see all reason to believe, worship and serves Him because He is the Almighty God. When you know or feel you have enough in yourself, what you can access or inherit, then you must check out for your soul. Your soul is more precious than luxury. What would it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? Nothing I tell you. Accept Christ and save your soul!

ARE YOU SELF SUFFICIENT?
