WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

What must I do to be saved? (Acts 16:31)

We are saved, not by doing good works or any work, but by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved" (Acts 16:31)

What does it mean to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ?  To answer this question, let us see the meaning of His name.
LORD - This is His kingly name. God has made Him "Lord of all". Jesus Christ is over all things in God's universe.
JESUS - This is His personal name. It means "Savior". He is our Savior, the Savior of the world - the One who died for our sins and rose from the grave to become our living Savior.
CHRIST - This is His official name. It means that He is the "Anointed One". He is the One chosen and anointed by God as the promised Savior.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the One Anointed by God to be your Savior? Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins? This is a huge and very important question for everyone. God created us for His purpose and grace and good will. But because he's the Alpha and Omega of all, He predestined that even our iniquities be paid for, not by anything we can offer but by what His true love and faithful purpose is towards us. So He before all things, anointed Jesus Christ, His only begotten son right from the beginning to have preeminence over all things. It also pleases God that by the "foolishness of preaching", we be saved and not by anything we can offer by the reason of wisdom or virtue. The grace of God in Christ Jesus is the only reason for our salvation.

Here is a prayer to help you:
" Dear Lord Jesus, I know that you Love me and you want to save me. I know that I am a sinner, I believe you are the Son of God and you died for my sins. Right now I am trusting you alone as my Savior and Lord"

ABIDE IN CHRIST

Christ is everything we need. He is our Salvation, our Righteousness, our Love, our Joy, our Wisdom, our Power, our Victory, our Patience, our Life, and much more. Indeed, Christ is our all in all. Jesus Christ can be unto you of everything, so when you have Christ, you've it all. How do we experience these things?  We experience them as we abide in Christ. The Lord Jesus said, "Abide in Me, and I [will live out My life] in you." Our part is to abide in Him. His part is to do everything we need How do I abide in Christ?
