ARMOR OF GOD

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" (EPHESIANS 6:13).

The word armor appears 41 times in both testaments of the Bible and generally implies weapon for warfare. It is either borne by the user or an aide, called armor bearer. In the New Testament it is called: armor of light, and gospel armor. According to Rick Joyner, "The entire Church age has been one of spiritual warfare, and that warfare is increasing as we approach the end of this age". All Christian soldiers must bear the armor and fight in the deadly warfare against the powers of darkness. You cannot stay neutral. (Ephesians 6:12; 2 Corinthians 10:3-4).

The Christian warfare is spiritual, so we must fight with spiritual weapons to overcome the adversaries (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). The components of the armor include Truth, Righteousness, and the sword of the Spirit. There is no guarantee of safety for the unarmed believers. You can only overcome the enemies when you put on the whole armor of God. You are secure fully clothed in God's armour. The arm of the flesh will fail. In Christ you are more than a conqueror.

ABIDE IN CHRIST

Christ is everything we need. He is our Salvation, our Righteousness, our Love, our Joy, our Wisdom, our Power, our Victory, our Patience, our Life, and much more. Indeed, Christ is our all in all. WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

What must I do to be saved? (Acts 16:31) We are saved, not by doing good works or any work, but by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
